Evening Prayer will be said in the church Monday through Wednesday at 5:30. On Maundy Thursday we will share a simple supper in the parish hall, following which we will observe the ritual of foot-washing as described in John’s gospel. Then at 7:00 p.m. we will celebrate the Eucharist, singing “Go to dark Gethsemane” in sadness as the altar is stripped.
Trinity will participate in the Community Good Friday Service which will be held at the First Presbyterian Church.
Easter begins with the Great Vigil (the Episcopal version of a sunrise service) at 6:30 a.m. A light breakfast will be available in the parish hall from 8:00 – 9:30. An Easter Egg hunt for the children will take place at 9:45 on the playground. After flowering the cross at 10:25, we celebrate the Eucharist at 10:30 and enjoy music from the children’s and adult choirs.
Please be with us!
