Join us for our annual Epiphany Bash!

Sunday, January 6, is the Feast of the Epiphany. It marks the end of the twelve days of Christmas and also marks the end of Sarah Diener’s internship with us. We’ll have our annual Epiphany bash Sunday evening in the parish hall and say goodbye to Sarah then as well. Stay tuned about what you can bring, but one thing is a blanket to give to a newborn at Iredell Hospital. This is always a great time, and we look forward to seeing you there @ 5pm

The Epiphany is depicted in a mural titled “Adoration of the Magi” in the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception at Conception Abbey in Conception, Mo. Painted by Benedictine monks in the late 1800s, the artwork is the first appearance of the German Beuronese style in a U.S. church. Christians celebrate the incarnation of the divine word — the birth of Christ — Dec. 25. The feast of the Epiphany is Jan. 2. (CNS photo courtesy Conception Abbey) (Nov. 8, 2004)
