Sarah Wilkinson, Church Administrator
Sarah has been the church administrator at Trinity since 2014. She was the secretary at Statesville Christian School when the doors first opened in 1995. In 2001 she began working at Iredell Memorial Hospital as the Anesthesia Department secretary. During her time at IMH she was active with Relay for Life and United Way. She and her husband, Mark, have a daughter, Clara.
“I am so blessed to be your new Parish Administrator,” she said. “I have thoroughly enjoyed meeting folks in this parish, and I appreciate your kindness and patience as I learn my way here.” She continued, “This is a multi-layered position. I promise I’ll do my best to keep it running smoothly. I’m glad to be here!”
Sam Holt, Organist and Choirmaster
Sam joined Trinity’s staff in July 2006. Having played the organ since age 15, Sam took formal training in organ at Meredith College while he was a full time student at Noth Carolina State University. Sam ‘s knowledge and love of the music and liturgy of the Episcopal Church are obvious to all who worship with him. His enthusiasm is infectious. Sam and his wife, Debbie, have two daughters.
Sam brings musical energy to our services, teaching our choirs and congregation new music, reinforcing music we already know, and inspiring us to reach farther with our voices than we had thought possible. Sam believes that “music is central to our worship, central to sharing the word of God and the promises of our faith.”Email Sam

Chris Fulks, Director of Youth Ministry
Chris grew up in Charlotte and Matthews and is a graduate of the College of Charleston. He owned a small real estate business in Charleston, SC specializing in rental and home owner association management, but eventually changed gears to attend Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary. Chris joined Trinity’s staff in 2015.
“Encourage your children to be active in the church,” Chris said in an interview. “Have Bible study every night with your children, discuss God and why we are here. Encourage questions. Faith cannot not be built if you don’t have questions, and then seek the answers to those questions. That is the ‘rock’ that faith is built on. Why do so many families go to the greatest lengths imaginable to prepare their kids for a successful career in this world but give such little attention to their lives after this world?”
Our Vestry is the body of confirmed Episcopalians, members of Trinity Episcopal Church, who serve as volunteer chairs of or liaisons to the committees that actively carry out the work of this parish. All members of the Vestry, except the treasurers and the secretary, are elected to serve a three year term. Any confirmed adult member of the parish is eligible to run for vestry and to vote in the election, which is held at the Annual Meeting of the congregation in the fall of each year.
